May 10, 9:00 AM - SFCMC Infection Prevention and Control Committee led the hospital's celebration of the Global Hand Hygiene Day at the OPD Building, Aquarium Area. 

The program started with a prayer headed by Ms. Mariven Pavino, RN and Dr. Mark Kristoffer Pasayan's opening remarks. It was followed by the Inauguration of the Commitment Wall and the Opening of "AMS Poster Exhibit," featuring several posters created by St. Cabrini's staff. This exhibit is to further promote proper hand hygiene to the employees and visitors.

Winners of the Music Video Contest: Laboratory Department (1st place), Sales and Marketing Department (2nd place), and Engineering and Facility Department (3rd place); and Poster Making Contest: Laboratory Department (1st place), Emergency Room (2nd place), and Dialysis Department (3rd place) were announced before Dr. Patrict Magalit's closing remarks.

Present also in the event were Detoxicare Philippines Inc. and Schnell Marketing Philippines Inc., who gave away free hand sanitizers and disinfectants to the attendees.

The campaign doesn't stop there as the INPRECON Committee encourages all the St. Cabrini staff to join the Search for Hand Hygiene Champions through their Paging Reminder which will last until October 2019.
