Dr. Medrana tackles about Hyperventilation Syndrome

May 15, Wednesday - Dr. Sheryl B. Medrana, a Family Medicine doctor at St. Cabrini had an informative lecture about Hyperventilation Syndrome at FPIP, Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

Participated by FUJI Industries employees, the forum aimed to raise awareness and help the possible sufferers get through the disease. She also discussed the importance of knowing what hyperventilation is, how to prevent it, and what to do when it occurs to serve as the attendees’ guide during emergencies.

St. Cabrini constantly conducts such lectures to shed light on different health issues commonly faced by industrial and corporate workers.

St. Cabrini joins 40th National Conference of Employers

The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) held its 40th National Conference of Employers at Marriott Grand Ballroom, Newport, Pasay City - May 28 to 29, 2019. With the theme "Future-Proofing Business and Industry," this year's NCE focuses on the growth of business industries through innovative use of technology.

Several business leaders, corporate policymakers, and HR/IR practitioners in the country participated in the event to discuss the issues in the rapidly changing business and economic landscape brought by the digital revolution. Representatives from St. Cabrini Medical Center and its affiliate company, Yazaki-Torres Inc. attended the event aiming to adopt more strategies to develop sustainable reforms for their employees and the sectors they’re serving.

Keynote speakers of the conference were Hon. Silvestre H. Bello III, the Department of Labor and Employment Secretary and Hon. Maria Leonor G. Robredo, the Philippine Vice President, who asked the attendees to join her in her advocacies, especially in helping poor Filipino communities.

NCE is an annual event of ECOP providing an opportunity for employers to discuss key issues on employment, labor-management relations, and general business climate.
