Wednesday, October 12 - in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, St. Cabrini partnered with Philippine Society of Medical Oncologists (PSMO) to conduct the training and workshop, “Abot Kamay Ako at ang PSMO (AKAP)” for our barangay health workers. 

AKAP is an educational course managed by PSMO to equip health workers with knowledge on cancer awareness and prevention.

Dr. Ana Karina De Jesus-De Lara (Cancer Institute Head) facilitated the event, with the presence of Dr. Malen Gellido (Medical Director), Dr. Florentino Afable (Executive Administrative Officer), and over 200 barangay health workers from the Municipality of Malvar, Tanauan City, Sto. Tomas City, and Calamba City.
