In celebration of World Kidney Day 2026 held on March 31, with the theme “Kidney Health for All,” St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center (SFCMC) actively participated by conducting a lively Zumba session, organized by the Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis unit. The activity was joined by Dr. Christina Erika L. Basilan, Head Nephrologist-Dialysis unit, alongside with SFCMC employees, healthcare professionals, patients, and student interns, fostering unity and healthy lifestyle through movement.

Aligned with this year’s theme, this initiative reflects SFCMC’s commitment to promoting healthy kidneys as a foundation for a person’s overall well-being. Through the Zumba activity, the SFCMC encouraged an active lifestyle and raised awareness on the importance of preventive care, empowering individuals to take proactive steps towards better kidney health.
