A specialized medical imaging and treatment modality that utilizes small amounts of radioactive materials, known as radiotracers, to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions. Using radiotracers that are injected, swallowed by the patient, our Nuclear Medicine specialists are able to visualize the function and structure of organs and tissues in the body. Radioactive Iodine Therapy (RAI)

         

          St. Cabrini offers Radioactive Iodine Therapy packages for the treatment of hyperthyroidism or thyroid cancer. The package includes:

  • High / Low Dose Radioactive Iodine Treatment
  • Post treatment monitoring
  • Room accommodation
  • Patient Counseling

Radioimmunoassay (RIA)

         

          St. Cabrini offers Radioactive Iodine Therapy packages for the treatment of hyperthyroidism or thyroid cancer. The package includes:

  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
  • Triiodothyronine (FT3)
  • Thyroxine
