St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center (SFCMC) explored a new specialized service, the Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), promoting Speech Therapy to the public, February 5.

Headed by Mr. Jude Gabriel Pumaren, licensed SLP, SFCMC’s Speech Therapy aims to address different indications including Acquired speech and language disorders (due to stroke, brain injury, etc.), Swallowing difficulties, Voice disorders, and Stuttering.

The SLP clinic services are available every Thursday and Friday, from 9:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon.

SLP services play a vital role in holistic healthcare, dedicated to assessing, diagnosing, and addressing issues concerning speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
