The Philippine National Police (PNP) CALABARZON, in collaboration with St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center (SFCMC), formalized a strategic partnership aimed at providing quality and affordable healthcare services to all personnel of the PRO CALABARZON (4A) and their beneficiaries on August 12, 2024, at the PRO 4A MPC Hall, Camp BGen Vicente P. Lim, Barangay Mayapa, Calamba City, Laguna.

The partnership, which was sealed through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), signified a commitment by SFCMC and other premier health institutions within the region to offer discounted medical services tailored to the specific needs of the police force and their families.

The event was graced by high-ranking officials and representatives from both the PNP and partner healthcare institutions. Among the distinguished attendees were PNP Regional Director PBGen Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, Dr. Florentino T. Afable, Vice President of SFCMC, and other key leaders from participating medical centers.

In his speech, Dr. Afable emphasized the crucial collaboration between the police force and the health sector, stressing that by working together, they can better serve the public. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that law enforcement officers are in peak condition to fulfill their sworn duties.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of the PRO CALABARZON Health Privilege Card, which grants PNP personnel and their dependents access to discounted health services. This card, along with certificates of appreciation, was presented by PBGen Lucas, with assistance from the PRO 4A Command Group.

A fellowship over breakfast between the officials and representatives also took place, marking the beginning of a collaborative effort to enhance the welfare of the PNP personnel in the region.

The MOA reflects the PNP’s unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of its personnel, ensuring that they have access to the necessary medical care as they continue to serve and protect the country.
